Your Privacy Matters
Hydration Streak ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Your health data stays on your device. Period.
Data Storage
All water intake data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. No data is sent to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
Apple HealthKit
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Hydration Streak will:
- Read dietary water data from Apple Health to include logs from other apps in your daily total.
- Write your water intake entries to Apple Health so all your health data stays in one place.
HealthKit data never leaves your device or Apple's HealthKit ecosystem. We access only the Dietary Water data type — nothing else.
Apple Watch & WatchConnectivity
If you use Hydration Streak on Apple Watch, data is synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This data stays on your devices and is never transmitted to external servers.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. No notification data is sent to or processed by external services.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not collect analytics or usage data
- We do not use tracking pixels, cookies, or advertising identifiers
- We do not include third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or ad networks
- We do not make any network requests — the app works entirely offline
- We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to anyone
Widgets
Home screen widgets display your hydration progress using data stored locally in a shared App Group container on your device. No data leaves your device.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, this applies universally.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since the app makes no network requests, you can review this policy at any time at the URL below.
